Scars and Miles and Memories

Scars and Miles and Memories deals with the loss of memory through a period of time and cherishing these individual memories that still remain. The series combines my experience with an Uncle losing his memory due to alcoholism and my desire to have the viewer become a part of my artwork. The viewer is forced to investigate and interact with the small, precious images. They are led through a series of images representative of a person’s life and memories, at the same time they are made a part of this lifeline through their interaction with the piece.
